Strings:

St. Paul’s provides a strings program for students in grades 2-8. Our strings instructor, Mr. Ervin Orban, brings extensive experience to the classroom as a long-standing member of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.  All 2^nd graders participate in the “Exploratory Strings Program”, which is a two week program held during school hours, designed to acquaint second graders with the violin, and determine if there is interest to continue training/instruction.  Beginning strings students (regardless or grade level) will have two 20-minute lessons per week.  Advanced strings students will have one 40-minute lesson per week.  This program offers a great opportunity for individual ability-specific instruction.
