PHILOSOPHY:

The Lutheran Church has a long history of glorifying God through music and art, as demonstrated in our worship services and church architecture.  We continue this tradition by offering vocal and instrumental music experiences, as well as art instruction for our students.

We believe a well-rounded music and art program enriches a child’s overall educational and learning experience.  A variety of music and art experiences are offered at St. Paul’s.  Weekly art instruction (taught by two grade-specific art teachers for K-4 and 5-8), Choral training (varying levels in grades 1-8), classroom music (including folk dance, Orff instruments, and other kinesthetic experiences), band, and strings, along with school musicals, concerts, and preparation for special worship services, all play a part in developing the “whole child”.
