In
addition to the choral, instrumental, classroom music,
and art instruction as part of our regularly scheduled
curriculum, St. Paul’s students may also participate in
full length plays and/or musicals, seasonal concerts,
grade-specific productions/presentations, art & music
festivals, as well as community productions (as hosted
by the Embassy Theater and/or Performing Arts Center).
One noteworthy “fine arts experience" which deserves
special recognition is our children’s Christmas Eve
service, held annually (December 24th, 7:00 p.m.).
A significant amount of rehearsal time & preparation is
spent from the week after Thanksgiving until the
students are dismissed for Christmas vacation. This
service has become a Fort Wayne treasure/tradition over
the past century, since the first singing of “The
Ungemach”. This service is truly a gift of music
offered by our children, giving “glory to God in the
highest!”
